MiLkRuN
It was a sad morning that i heard from my shepherd that brazil lost. yesterday, a miracle happened. my caregroup brought chuan chi to service, we met him only on tuesday but he converted yesterday. it is really a miracle that god has shown to our school, as we are stagnant for 8 months. the next miracle, was the defeat of england AND Brazil . it was a really a sad thing to see them out of the world cup during the quater-finals only. :'(At 11:45, i was suppose to reach outram park MRT to meet the bunch of balloon Peeps to go to milkrun to make balloon. (: But i was late, i eventually reach there at 1205. Really thank god for their patience. :) When we reach our booth, we are eventually taught how to make hat balloons. its cool. Shawn made a dinosaur hat which was impressive, a wow. =) too bad i do not have the picture of it. (probably faith has, as she took from him and took a photo with it) ^-^. i tried to do the hat balloon but the balloon always broke in the last part. argh, which made me got to redo the whole thing, but after trying for around 3 times, i finally managed to succeed with a white and a light blue hat.
MY DEAL, i think my first deal was the twity balloon, it was sold cheap at only 3 dollars. :) yeah. after that sale i began to sell another balloon which was a panda holding on to a flower. it was nice but i don't see to appreciate it. (: (its just me). it was hard to sell that as it need to be hold unlike a hat or a wrist band. melanty and i went out to look for sale, we began searching for those adults with young children, i was almost rejected by all of them so i returned back to the booth. There was nothing for me to do except to make balloon but it seemed that i had broke quite a number of it. rest for 5 minutes, went out to sell that balloon, i wander here and there around the carnival, soon i saw an caucasian who came to milkrun to participate in that run with his younger children, i approached him in the same manner, "hi sir, would u like to buy a balloon for 4 dollars, the fund would not go to us but it would go to Milkrun." without much thoughts about it, he accepted the deal.
after selling that, i went back to the booth to try to make myself busy. so i kept trying to make balloon but it kept bursting. i'm really angry with it. ARGH. after much perserverance, i finally made a good bear.i kept on thinking how can i put it on my hat. tried some funny methods but eventually it failed. suddenly a inspiration came, so i put it with the "knots" and it was stable. yay.^_^
After the whole Milkrun, we went and eat at Lau Pa Sat, the dinner was really WEN LUAN. we ate stingray, doufu, egg oysters, vegetables. we squeeze together in a small circular table. so that we can feel WEN LUAN, (WEN LUAN thing is suggested by Yongmei, guess she don't feel WEN LUAN enough. O No. Yongmei going to Hack me to death. HAHA).
after those 4 dishes, we had our desert which consist of ice-kachang with ice cream. we ordered 4 of them, there is durian, strawberry, mango and "forgotten". those ice-kachang was crazy which made me crazy and Dolphin keep suanning me. haha. (:
Liping, Dolphin and Faith thank god for you guys for painting those people's hand and face. you Guys done a great and marvelous job.
yongmei thank god for u assisting in helping "the trainer" in to make balloon. i think you have done a great and marvelous job.
Joyce and "the adminstrator", thank god for you guys, u guys drawn quite a lot of customers without u guys don know how much lesser would we earned for charity.
i really enjoyed myself today, other then fellowshipping we also helped in charity.(: Really felt the WEN LUAN i had today. Even the church ministry can make me feel WEN LUAN what about Pastoral? DECOR ROCKS MY SOCKS MAN!!!
