Pieces of Truths!
I have been late for work quite frequently for my internship. I need to change! I was told by Jeff that i have been late for 5 times for the past 2 months.Anyway, There is quite a number of things that i learn today. which i decided i need to pen it down.
1) When God
During LG today, we were listening to this sermon series by andy stanley. He spoke about when god is uncooperative, what's next?
One thing that was pointed out that hit me hard is this verse 2 Cor 12:9, which states
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
I think this verse is really something which i need grab hold off. As i tend to always get so conceited of myself that i do not trust God for his grace and providence in my life. But in the things that i'm weak in, i need to continue to trust and acknowledge his presence in my life!
2) Kopi with Luke
One thing that he pointed out about the preacher who preached last sunday said that "if you want to expect great things from God, Pray!"
Come to think of it... I seldom pray. I seldom rely on the strength of God when i'm doing his work. This is something that i really need to grow in...
Perhaps should set up a calendar to pray, 3 times a day... Haha... Let me try it out for one week!
