Festive Season...
Chinese New Year? Reunion Dinner? Ang Bao? New Year Goodies? Wearing Red? Speaking the positive things when you meet your relative and friends? ~ Perhaps these are the customary practice that chinese do during the Lunar New Year.However, it's plain stupid to celebrate this occasion when your family members aren't exactly celebrating it because they want to start this new year afresh! It's especially meaningless to have a reunion dinner when people just gather to eat and completely disappear back into their own comfort zone when they have eaten their fill.
Perhaps, i feel that this occasion is exceptionally meaningful when family members unite back as a family to share and to be backed in-sync with one another. A family that is disunited, is one that never fail to be apart and not a part of the family.
